FOOOOTBALLL!

Project Run and Play Week 3: Boy Week
I was super duper excited for this week! Mostly because I have this adorable little model. I really enjoy this Football Jersey tutorial from Melly Sews. I used one of Nathan’s old practice jerseys from Carey High. Unfortunately, the shirt turned out enormous (my bad, I made the pattern too big) so I’ll have to put it away until Mackathanial is a little bigger.
The absolute epitome of cool: football jersey and sunglasses and a calculator.

He thought he was pretty cool in his sunglasses.
I didn’t make his pants, just added this patch. It’s the same brown material from Mackathanial’s messenger bag, just some brown upholstery fabric we got in the clearance bin. I sewed it on with brown embroidery thread and white yarn.
For the beanie I used the Basic Beanie Pattern . I changed things up a tad by doing the white rows in half-double crochet rather than double. I also added a few rows to the pattern so that it fit better.

And there you have it! Simple and adorable.
