I signed up for this series because if there’s something you know I love, it’s a sewing challenge.
Nathan is not a big fan of pink, Mack is not a big fan of pink, and Ziggity has no opinion yet (I bet he won’t be a fan). But boys can totally wear pink!
And if there’s anything else you all know I adore, it’s a bow tie. Bow ties are cool. Pink is cool.
Pink bow tie it is!
When you dress your boys in pink, you may get a few eye rolls… But I think people will eventually warm to the idea that boys can wear pink. I’ve been talking about these ties so much that Nathan wore his pink tie to church last week, “since it was the week before Valentine’s.” I’m always begging him to wear that tie!
This is a diamond style bow tie. The pattern is one I drafted myself, so be on the lookout for the free pattern and tutorial! It still needs a bit of tweaking, but I promise you are going to love the Oswin Bow Tie as much as I do!
Whether you choose a fabric that’s all pink, mostly pink, or has just a hint of pink– your little man will look so dashing in a pink tie!
*No children were harmed in the tying of these bow ties*
